OPERATION & FEATURES      back to top

  • The 900 series remote control work only with door openers and light controls having an orange "learn" button
  • The code between the remote control and the receiver changes with each use, randomly accessing over 100 billion new codes.
  • Opener activates each time the button on the remote is pressed.
  • Remotes with multiple buttons can be used for multiple devices (i.e. door openers, light controls etc.)
  • Multiple devices can be programmed to a single remote button however all devices will activate whenever the button is pressed. 
  • Remotes will not operate when an openers vacation switch is on.  
  • Remote Devices include - Hand-held remotes, Keyless entry pads, Vehicles factory installed remotes  back to top

 

SETTING / PROGRAM A HAND-HELD REMOTE  (please read the warning and precautions before starting)
  1. On the motor unit, press and release the "Learn" button  (normally located on the rear side). The LED near the learn button will light for 30 seconds.  BEWARE, be sure to "press and release" the learn button, holding the learn button pressed in, will erase all remotes, keypads or any transmitting devices that are already programmed into the units memory.
  2. Within 30 seconds, press and HOLD the button on the remote. If your remote has multiple buttons, press and hold the one button you want to use to activate this opener. 
  3. Release the button when the light on the motor unit blinks. NOTE: If the light bulbs have not been installed, or are not working, you will hear two clicks indicating the procedure is complete
  4. Be sure NOT to be standing directly in the doors travel when testing your remote.     back to top
TO ERASE ALL REMOTE DEVICES FROM UNIT (please read the warning and precautions before starting)

You can not erase a single remote from the units memory. You must first clear the units memory then reprogram only the remotes you want to still work. 

  1. On the motor unit, press and hold the "Learn" button  (normally located on the rear side). The LED near the learn button will light then go out (approximately 6-10 seconds)
  2. When the LED goes out, release the "Learn" button

All previous codes are now erased. Reprogram each remote or keyless entry you wish to use.

 

 

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS      back to top
To prevent possible SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from a moving garage door
  • ALWAYS keep remote controls out of reach of children
  • NEVER permit children to operate, or play with remote control transmitters
  • ONLY activate the garage when it can be clearly seen, to ensure there are no obstructions in the doors travel path
  • ALWAYS keep door in-sight until it has fully completed it's travel and has come to a full stop.
  • NEVER permit anyone to cross path of moving door
  • Be sure your door is properly adjusted. This will increase your personal safety and extend the life of your opener
  • NEVER allow small children near batteries
  • If battery is swallowed, immediately notify the doctor      back to top

 

BATTERY INFORMATION & REPLACEMENT      back to top
Information
  • The keypad uses a 3V2032 Lithium battery
  • The battery should produce power for up to 5 years.
  • Be sure to observe polarity when installing the battery (it DOES make a difference which way you install it)
Replacement
  1. Using the visor clip or small flat screwdriver, pry open case.
  2. Remove battery, observe the polarity
  3. Install new battery observing polarity (normally positive side up) 
  4. Snap case back together
  5. Do not stand in doors travel path when testing
