Set / Change Combination	Open / Close	Change Access Single / Dual

The Mas-Hamilton PowerStar 50 is for small businesses and individuals alike; anyone with a requirement to protect what's inside a safe, secure cabinet or container.

PowerStar Technology^TM

PowerStar 50^TM acts as a power plant, generating all the electricity it needs internally, thus requiring no batteries or wiring.

Quick Access Touch Pad

Mechanical locks take about 35 to 40 seconds to open, if you get it right the first time. The PowerStar 50 can be opened with a 6-digit combination in about 7 seconds. Safes will not be left open because it's inconvenient to dial the combination.

Dual Mode (optional)

Requires the entry of two separate combinations to gain access, holding two people accountable.

Choice of Keypad Housing Designs:

Round: for safes opened at eye level.

Low Profile: for inner safe doors or wall safes.

Vertical: for floor standing safe or installations below eye level.

OPEN / CLOSE THE LOCK

Power lock by briskly turning dial back and forth in both directions until simultaneous green and red flashes display.

Position dial to cover red bar and enter combination**. After entering correct combination, One slow green light will flash (in Dual Mode, two short green light flashes then enter second combination. DO NOT TURN DIAL BETWEEN COMBINATIONS)

Dial right (clockwise) within 10 seconds to retract bolt.

To close lock, dial left (counter-clockwise) past red bar

**Five wrong tries = 3 minute (maximum) lockout

Each consecutive wrong try after first five = 3 minute lockout

CHANGE COMBINATION

Power lock by briskly turning dial back and forth in both directions.

Press ENTER and 1.

Enter current combination (factory combination is 50-25-50)

Enter new six-digit combination. Enter new six-digit combination again for verification.

CHANGE ACCESS (SINGLE OR DUAL MODE)

Power lock by briskly turning dial back and forth in both directions.

Press ENTER and then 2.

To set mode:

from single to dual access - Enter current combination

from dual to single access - Enter both combinations (do not turn dial between combination entries)

NOTE: Changing access will reset the combination(s) to 50-25-50.
