Exit Device Controls
The 2015 Series is designed to operate surface-mounted exit devices from the outside using the tailpiece, replacing the key cylinder on new or existing devices. Designed for high-frequency use, this lockset is weather resistant with all-metal construction ideal for outdoor applications. This lockset can be used with many leading brands of surface-mounted (rim-mounted) exit devices; however, they cannot be used with mortise design or most vertical rod devices and, in addition, the 2015 Series cannot be used with thumb-operated devices. Exit devices are not provided.
2015 Series lock can be used with many leading brands of surface-mounted exit devices
- Weather-resistant; all-mechanical construction, ideal for use outdoors
- Lock comes with a 2 3/4" (70 mm) long tailpiece* to operate surface-mounted exit devices from the outside
- Exit device can have up to 90° rotation (either direction)
- Series 2015 should not be used with thumb operated, mortise design, or vertical rod devices
- Exit device can be "dogged" open without affecting the 2015 unit
